New story - SGA - Gen

YAYS! I like how Locky is sweet and insightful and eager for praise and affection. John and Rodney are wonderful caretakers.

I know I promised the artwork a while ago. Sorry for the wait! I'm still in the process of coloring. Just one question: What color is Locky? After ch1 I thought he was gold, but after this chapter, I think he's greenish? (also, eye color please)

He was a soft gold when he was a dragonet, as he grows up he gets greener, but still kind of gold on his belly. His eyes are dark green too (I must spend some more time describing his eyes!)

And I'm so thrilled to get any art you do - please, take your time, I know you have a lot of projects going on.

OMG, so adorable!!!

I have such a soft spot for dragons (and John and Rodney), and Lockheed is such an adorable little guy (though getting bigger every day). And the way he talks to John, all bonded and attached and excited little boy crushing on his hero-- *melts* "Look at me, John, Rodney!" Lockheed called happily. "Look at me fly!" *flails*

Though I can't help it, I find myself bracing for something to go wrong. Between Atlantis cut off and powered down, mama-dragon dying, all the talk about the dragon sickness, the strength and openness (and vulnerability) of John's love, and other less defined things, there's just something bittersweet and hurty lurking under the surface. *frets & worries*

I'm thinking positive thoughts about it all, though. Positive thoughts.

Ah well, no matter what I say you know just how much I love this universe...
I've never watched an episode of SGA so I don't know what John and Rodney are really like, but I kinda like YOUR John and Rodney -bg- And of course Lockheed is a wonder.
